I'm in a bit of a similar situation, my main recommendation is to craft a decent MR set and try to focus on important decorations (spread/pierce/weakness exploit/crit boost) and grind them out because the monsters will go down fast and some of the Pierce can work if the monster is long enough and you’re consistently shooting down the longest line of the monster, but generally speaking, spread is significantly easier to use and deals more damage since you can focus weak/ tenderized spots as well.
